Move from Kit to Sendicorn
Export your subscribers from Kit as a CSV file, import it under Contacts, add your sending domain and send. Unsubscribes and bounces stay blocked, and repeats and bad addresses are left out before anything is written. See the prices side by side.

Export from Kit
- a.In Kit, open Subscribers, filter by status to your confirmed subscribers, select all, then Export. The link comes by email.
- b.Kit's word for a subscribed person isn't one we read, so before you import that file, rename its Status column, for example to kit_status, and they come in subscribed.
- c.Export unsubscribed, bounced and complained subscribers as a second file and keep its Status column, so they stay blocked.

Import into Sendicorn
Open Contacts and press Import. Pick the newsletter, keep Status from file, and tick that the people on the list agreed to get email from you. Bought, rented or scraped lists aren't allowed.
The email, status, signup date and tags columns are read by name. Every other column becomes a field you can use in an email, like a first name, and you can skip any of them. This is how the Status column is read:
How the Status column is read Status says Comes in as subscribed, active, or no status Subscribed unsubscribed, inactive Unsubscribed bounced, cleaned, invalid, hard bounce Bounced, never mailed again complained, spam, spam report Complaint, never mailed again dormant Dormant, left out of sends anything else Unsubscribed An import never subscribes anyone again: a contact who already left here stays as they are.
Before anything is written, the preview counts what comes in and what is left out, with the reason for each. The last four checks apply to new subscribers who would come in subscribed:
What the import leaves out Left out Why Not an address A row whose email can't be an address. Duplicate An address an earlier row already has. The stricter status wins. Role address info@, admin@ and the like, unless you tick them in. Typo An address that looks mistyped. Tick it in to keep it; we never change it. Throwaway A disposable inbox. Can't receive email A domain whose DNS can't take mail. - 03
Add your sending domain
Open Domains in the panel and add the domain you send from. Copy the records it shows to your DNS host: three DKIM records, a MAIL FROM record and its SPF line, and, if the domain has none, the DMARC record it suggests.
DKIMMAIL FROMSPFDMARCThe panel checks the records by itself for 72 hours, and Check again runs the check at once. Your old account keeps sending while you wait.

Send the first campaign
Choose a plan and pay at checkout; your account can send as soon as the payment goes through. Send yourself a test from the campaign page first.
A first send of 1,000 or more to a list this project never mailed goes to a random tenth first, then to the rest 15 minutes later if bounces and complaints stay low. If they run high, the project pauses and we email you what happened. That protects your domain while the list proves itself here.

Questions
Will my unsubscribed and bounced Kit subscribers stay blocked?
Yes, when the file says so. Unsubscribed or inactive comes in unsubscribed, bounced or cleaned comes in bounced, and spam complaints come in as complaints, so none of them get mail. An import never subscribes anyone again.
What does the import leave out?
Rows without a valid address and repeated addresses. For new subscribers it also leaves out throwaway inboxes and domains that can't receive email, and role addresses like info@ and likely typos unless you tick them in. The preview shows each count and reason before anything is written.
Do my subscribers have to confirm again?
No. When you import, you confirm that the people on the list agreed to get email from you, and they come in subscribed. Bought, rented or scraped lists aren't allowed.
Can I keep Kit while I move?
Yes. Importing changes nothing on Kit. Send from Sendicorn once your domain is verified, then cancel there.
Do my automations come over?
No, automations don't import. Rebuild them under Automations, or connect Claude or ChatGPT and ask it to draft them. A draft waits until you turn it on.
